I have been putting dowels through the firewall too. I have been surprised at how much even the aircraft ply will compress.

I can't quite tell from the picture, is the pilot foam or plastic?

Are you going to run dowels through it to help keep it from crushing? Do you guys do that? This is made from aircraft ply and then epoxied together. It can't be crushed. haha At least not before the firewall, et al, was crushed. If you're only as good as your weakest link?... this engine spacer is ...

Are you in a 12 step program for that? Finally I got back to the engine spacer. I started sanding on it for a few minutes with a spindle sander and then called it a night. It took an entire 12"x24" x 1/4" piece of aircraft ply to make this spacer. That sheet weighed a ton. After I go...

I really like doing the wing servo harness that way. I got some sub-d connectors from radio shack. I took it a step farther and mounted them so they plug in when the wing is put on. Gonna be a nice clean setup for sure!

Terry (terryscustom) designed a kit he called the Viper ST. PAU then worked with him and is making an ARF of it.

I think there is someone here that has a KILLER 35% kit that is worth building! (hint, hint TERRY!!!)
