My engine arrived Friday so I'm running out of excuses to not get this thing done! In between putting a couple flights on the Raven and having to drive about 120 miles roundtrip to deliver a quadcopter to a buddy of mine, I got the cowl ring glued up and also thoroughly soaked the canopy mount blocks with thin CA. Need to get about 5,000 sealing washers for this cowl too! :D

Did you glue it on, and then mount the entire 2 piece cowl while the glue was still soft, like the manual shows? I felt like that was a tricky one man job. ;)

I ran some corner stock around mine and was glad I did... it has to hold up to the engine vibration:

That is one huge a$$ cowl man! Yes, I glued it and bolted the cowl on per the manual.

While the glue was setting up I routed my rudder and elevator extensions through the fuse, bolted the throttle servo in and put the throttle linkage together. On my way to the shop tomorrow I'll grab some longer bolts for the engine so I can install it.

Progress!
