Fly-Fan 2.45m Raven: Blast from the past!

Awww yeah. Picked this bad bird up from Rod earlier this week. I always liked this plane. It's not too much to look at right now but we will get her all shined up and back in the air soon enough!

This thing sat in a trailer for about 8 years!

Can't wait to get flying again! Gotta order some new gear for this thing. The old gear is kinda hammered from sitting...

I think my target for getting 'er back in the air will be next weekend. Still trying to get all my field equipment together and get back in the swing of working on airplanes again!

Well, my buddy Glenn came by the shop on Friday with a couple Futaba R7008SB receivers and he said we HAD to fly it Saturday! So we did! Put two test flights on 'er. Everything worked great! The BME 102 was a bit rich on the low end but it ran like a champ! Now I will get a new transmitter and finish setting the plane up. Probably fly it again Sunday!
