Or you can get a Taranis for a little over $200
I have two of them and have been flying gas with them for quite awhile.
Totally assignable and very versatile.

I can't go back to conventional radios after this.

Take care
Bob

Thinking about getting a taranis just to see how it is. They are supposed to be coming out with a tx like the jeti ds 16 anytime now. One hard part about switching brands is the cost of receivers more than the actual tx. The frsky stuff makes out affordable. It is just a matter of if they are "cheap" or "inexpensive".

My Jeti DS14 arrived Monday! I set it up for my 33% Raven and flew it tonight. This thing is pretty damn sweet. The gimbals have a real nice feel to them. Actually the whole radio just feels good to hold! Fyi-Jeti receivers are actually priced very well. The R11 that I have in the Raven sells for about $100. And this is a full-blown telemetry receiver with a nice silicone wire power plug.

Cool Joe! But, this thread is no good without pictures!

And, how about pictures of your Sukhoi build!?!

Here's a couple shots of the DS14 while I was working on programming. You can see on the powered-up photo some of the telemetry readouts. This is fully customizable. Antenna signal strength, RX voltage, trim positions etc. I've since added my flight timer to this screen. This TX is capable of so much... I've just barely begun to get into it!

I have the opportunity to fly with a Jeti in the pst and I must say that they are very comfortable in the hands. It doesn't seem like it would be but it is nice.
